I’m less than a month before Lost Beasts arrives in the world. Because of pending things, I’m planning for things which simultaneously concern and excite me. Like most writers, I spend a great deal of time in my head making things up and delight in the process of creating.
The one time I behave differently is when I receive an opportunity to talk with people about my books, writing and all the joys experienced through my imagination. Anyone who winds up asking me about what I enjoy, find challenging or even discover the most peace within hears about stories, characters and worlds that regularly catch my interest.
I’ve gotten much better and sharing about myself and my work with the launch of each successive book. I’m gearing up for a book launch and signing at one of my all-time favorite bookstores. I had an author day earlier in the year. Out of that, the fine staff at Liberty Books asked if they could participate in the launch of Lost Beasts.
I immediately said yes because this is a chance for me to be around those who love books as much as I do. Also, they treat all their authors as though they are part of the highly touted and celebrated wordsmiths in the world. I can’t wait to spend a Saturday surrounded by many books and talking about my own.
I want to invite everyone who is in Atlanta to come out to Liberty Books on the square in Lawrenceville, Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 1 PM to 3 PM. I’ll be reading from the book, answering questions, and signing a few books. It will be a great time. Can’t wait to see everyone.
Also, there’s something big I’ll be announcing soon with a live and online component. It is something I’ve considered for a few years now. The new books and others who see the value in it have sparked me to bring it out of the shadows. Can’t wait to share it with you.
Enjoy the Journey. We’re all on it together.
